Lydia Luce played her song “Love You True” at Spring Sing back in 2016 as a UCLA graduate student. This is the song that now has over 16 million streams on Spotify alone. She says, “I am so grateful for my time at UCLA and for the opportunity to play at Spring Sing because it allowed for this pivot in my music career.”

When Lydia was at UCLA for graduate school she was pursuing viola performance. She thought that she would continue down a path of classical music and pursue a life as a session musician. Half way through her degree she began songwriting and in the summer between those two years she made my first EP “The Tides”. Lydia says, “I would not have thought that the EP I made back in 2015 would end up reaching over 16 million streams on Spotify and lead me to this life of songwriting.”
