Ryan Nealon performed in Spring Sing in 2017 in his band “Third Degree”. Ryan says, “My experience performing in Spring Sing was pretty cool and definitely was a special moment for my band and I. Spring Sing was something that inspired me to write my own songs and led me to forming a band in my freshman year. In a way, Spring Sing was what gave me the push I needed to really push myself to get my music heard. When I finally got the chance to perform at Pauley with my closest friends, it was a crazy full circle moment for myself--I still get chills when I think about it. From the crazy hours of tech and rehearsals to the final performance, I was so honored to be a part of the Spring Sing legacy and to be part of the chosen few selected to compete. Now, 4 years later, I'm starting to finally make bigger moves in the industry and I don't think I'd be where I'm at today without Spring Sing.”
